Home Garda Lake's Parks The main parks on Lake Garda

Amusement or nature parks are increasingly in demand as a holiday or tourist destination, and Lake Garda certainly represents an area with a very high concentration of these structures in Italy. Between adventure, games, discovery of nature, you just have to choose where to go!

Amusement Parks, Water Parks and Theme Parks

Different by type, theme, innovative ideas or for immersion in nature, the parks on Lake Garda offer many possibilities for children but also for adults. Let’s see which are the most coveted, by those who book a weekend at the amusement park or a mini trip to Lake Garda, certainly impossible to forget.

Gardaland

In Castelnuovo del Garda, on the Veronese shore, stands what is considered the amusement park par excellence. Gardaland is a world of attractions and games, which attracts thousands of people from all over Italy every year. Reserve surprising routes and structures, such as the world of Prezzemolo, the Colorado Boat, the Shaman and the nearby Gardaland Sealife.

The latter is an aquarium that houses over 5,000 animals that live in the deep sea, divided into thematic areas. We remind you that children who do not reach one meter in height access the Gardaland games for free, while others can only be accessed with a minimum height, for safety reasons.

Giardino Sigurtà Park

This is a Parco Natura sul Garda, located in the Veronese side in Valeggio sul Mincio. It is one of the most unique historic gardens in the world, founded in 1941.

Sigurtà is worth a visit for its beautiful crops, magnificent blooms, the Labyrinth… A path that takes you through 2500 square meters of nature and floral scents, by bike, on foot and even on board a nice panoramic train. A curiosity: here you will find about 1500 specimens of Tasso plants, including picnics and games in the countryside.

ZOO Park Natura Viva

This is a Zoo Park located in Bussolengo, not far from the Veronese shore, which was already born in the 1960s as a Natura Viva Wildlife Park. Today you will find a Safari area and interesting itineraries to get to know the animal kingdom, such as the Aquaterrarium, the Tropical Greenhouse and the Dinosaurs area. Several endangered species are housed in the park, and a visit is an opportunity to learn about the conservation methods used for flora and fauna.

Caneva Aquapark

Here is a water park, located in Lazise (Verona), which also includes a Movieland Studios area in about 100,000 square meters, dedicated to cinema and the reconstruction of cinematic settings.

For those who love water games, between palm trees and beaches reminiscent of the Caribbean, this is the perfect park, where you can play on water slides and attractions including the Windy Lagoon, a lagoon area where a large windmill stands out on the stretches of water, dedicated to children from 0 to 12 years.

Riovalli Water Park

In Cavaion, in the Veronese hinterland not far from Garda, is this water park surrounded by nature. Slides and pools promise fun between curves and descents, as well as play circuits with tubes, multi-track foam and sports equipment in the greenery, one of which is dedicated to the little ones. For the older ones there is also the Super Kamikaze slide, with 50 meters of steep descent!

Jungle Adventure Park

This is an amusement park near Lake Garda in the San Zeno di Montagna part reserved for those seeking the thrill of an adventurous journey. As an Adventure Park, it is divided according to age, to access different roads between cableways, balance trunks, insidious fishermen’s or corsairs’ nets, Himalayan or Canadian bridges to cross, “adrenaline-pumping” jungle bridges, beams of the bear.

If you don’t like adventure, you can reserve a botanical path or a fitness area for yourself, leaving the passion for risk to others.

Busatte Adventure Adventure Park

Another adventure park on Lake Garda is located in Nago-Torbole in the northernmost area, and is worth a visit if you love green passages and bike excursions. The Adventure Park puts you to the test with over 50 aerial and acrobatic passages (from 2 to 15 meters in height), technical trails for MTB and the BMX track (approved for national competitions) and Bike Trial spots.

Furthermore, as an amusement park on Lake Garda, it is also known for its basketball and volleyball courts, immersed in the Le Busatte park. If you want to go trekking, you can venture on the panoramic Busatte-Tempesta route.

Cavour Aquatic Park

Also in Valeggio is this Water Park, near Peschiera del Garda, which offers you a unique scenario of entertainment among swimming pools, slides, lawns, ponds with piers, a unique park where you can relax alternating with games.

In approximately 200,000 square meters, this amusement park on Lake Garda also offers you the reconstruction of tropical beaches and entertainment with Latin American dances. There is also an arctic landscape, opposite, the Iceberg and the oriental charm of the Water Lagoon with the Tibetan bridge. In addition, spaces for sports, shows and activities with the park’s mascots… superb.

Picoverde

Further away from the Garda landscape, but still easily accessible, is the Picoverde Water Park in Custoza (Verona). With over 60,000 square meters of natural greenery, the park allows you to disconnect from the confusion and routine, offering attractions including slides and pools, in a lagoon and in a playground equipped with umbrellas, deck chairs, changing rooms and wi-fi connection. In addition to being an amusement park on Lake Garda, it is a real relaxation park for children and adults.

Medioeval Times Show

If you love historic atmospheres, then this show on Lake Garda is for you! Also in Lazise, you can immerse yourself in the medieval past between duels, armours, fights for the princesses and shows inspired by the Middle Ages.

In the world of Ruritania, year 1092, you will be able to witness a spectacular tournament, complete with a royal banquet!
