Scuba diving in Trimelone

Close to Trimelone Island, it is possible to dive into the waters of Lake Garda by following 3 different routes.

Home Islands Scuba diving in Trimelone

At about 300 meters away from Trimelone, so away from the most risky locations, you can immerse yourself in Lake Garda. Divers take excursions on the shoal under the lake, which descends up to 8 meters deep.

Here you can find a wall that ends with a rock that has become a turning point: from here, for the most experienced divers, it is possible to descend up to 45 meters below the water level, on three different paths: Canyon, Jump, and Wall.

The Canyon starts from the shoal to go towards the Brescia coast and has a muddy bottom in addition to large boulders at -35 meters. There are no indications, so it is recommended only with local divers.

The Jump is taken from a point north of the shoal and requires the courage to make a decided leap (jump!) into the dark, given that the wall does not degrade but sinks towards the center of Lake Garda.

The Wall is a dive in Trimelone that is done in the opposite direction of the Canyon, despite being the same. You start from the Verona shore and descend to the wall which reaches, as we said, 45 meters deep. The bottom seems almost marine, you can spot boulders, arches, rocky escarpments, and cliffs in which fish chase each other – bottatrici, aole, vaironi …
