Limone sul Garda cycle path: where it is and how to get there

Considered one of the most beautiful in Europe, the cycle path owes its name to the town of Limone del Garda. The beginning of the cycle path is located in Capo Reamol, precisely in Via IV Novembre 92.

How to get there? There are two possibilities:

• If you arrive from the south, you have to go through the western Garda area; the entrance to the cycle path will be recognizable thanks to the war memorial monument. Be careful: in that area, especially in the parking lots, if you are coming by car there are not many places available to stop. Our suggestion is to park in Limone del Garda (where you can find different paid parking) and start to walk from the city center to the beginning of the cycle path (Located in Capo Reamol).

• Otherwise, coming from the north, more precisely from Trentino (or from Riva del Garda), the route will be shorter and simpler. You will arrive directly in Limone del Garda, and from there you can leave your car in a paid parking and, as described before, you then walk or cycle the whole town (about 4 km) until you reach the cycle path.

Limone sul Garda cycle path: the route

We assume that the cycle path of Limone sul Garda has an high emotional impact: in fact you will have to be ready to walk or to cycle almost suspended on the West Side of Lake Garda. Amazing.

The route is not short, but also not unsustainable as it’s about 4 kilometers! The track knots along the rocks and was built with concrete panels, covered with a slatted finish that reproduces the spectacular effect of the wood. The most characteristic part of the cycle path of Limone sul Garda is certainly enclosed in the last 2 km when you find yourself literally suspended between sky and lake. Obviously, needless to say, the cycle path is definitely safe: you are protected by a steel barrier that limits the panorama in part, but will keep you more peaceful.

A path to be tackled calmly even when the sun has gone down, as it is well lit!

Limone sul Garda cycle path: rental costs and services

If you love hiking but you don’t have the bikes, don’t worry. In Limone sul Garda and also near the cycle path you will find a bicycle or e-bike rental service, to be used exclusively for this route.

The rental cost is 20 euros for half a day and 30 euros for the whole day.
