The small town of Toscolano Maderno overlooks the small port which extends for several meters up to the docking of the ferry which from here moves towards the Veronese shore. The restaurants and bars enliven the area which also hosts various open-air exhibitions during the summer. Here are some of the more interesting hotels:
- Hotel Milano **** – Central location and building from the early 1900s make it a unique structure of its kind. The lake view rooms are breathtaking, without forgetting modernity and comfort. The hotel swimming pool is an excellent alternative for relaxation that marries perfectly with the greenery that has been “built” as a side dish. Private parking and free Wi-Fi are the must-haves.
- Albergo Giardino *** – Located in the narrow streets of the center a few steps from the lakefront. It does not have a view of the lake as it is located a few meters from the main square, but it is the ideal setting for those looking for a very quiet place, even for their 4-legged friends! Parking in the private courtyard and the possibility of using the available bikes for free enhance the services, the only flaw however is the lack of air conditioning.
- Hotel Eden *** – The Eden Hotel is located just behind the main square a few meters from the lake. Equipped with a private swimming pool located in the garden, useful for relaxing and cooling off on the hottest days.

What i haven’t told you until now is that, in the past, Toscolano and Maderno were two different towns, only to later unify. To be completely clear about it you must know that Maderno is the part of Toscolano Maderno that is located further south, while Toscolano is the area further north and, to give you a reference, it is where the famous paper mill is located where until 1948 paper money was printed.
Having introduced you to the hotels located in the center of Toscolano Maderno (which is none other than the center of Maderno in the past), it is certainly useful for you to know the hotels also in the northern area, where you will find beaches also dedicated to 4-legged friends and the second port of the country.
- Hotel Sorriso **** – This hotel is 10 minutes far walk from the “Lido degli Ulivi” beach, a real gem that offers its customers simply furnished rooms, air conditioning, TV, buffet breakfast, private parking and bicycle rental service. The peculiarity is instead the heated outdoor swimming pool with whirlpool always in the name of relaxation.
- Hotel Antico Monastero **** – You can already guess from the name: this hotel is an ancient monastery that has been renovated and transformed into an accommodation facility surrounded by greenery. Also just a few meters from the beaches and with private parking and a swimming pool available for guests. You can also walk through the pine forest of the campsite where you will also find a small market that is always stocked for every need.
- Hotel Adria Resort *** – The Adria Resort is located at the end of the historic center of Toscolano and offers its customers the opportunity to relax in the swimming pool, immersed in a 1800 square meter private park. The structure is only 300 meters from the nearest beach, which also welcomes our 4-legged friends. The only flaw? Lack of private parking.
- Albergo Meuble Olivi ** – The structure is dated but maintained in an absolutely impeccable way by the owners. On paper it is a two-star hotel but most of the customers who frequent it feel like guests of a much more complete hotel: rooms with TV and climate control, hairdryer, private parking, private garden, bar… and all just a few steps away from the main beaches of Toscolano.

Toscolano Maderno is not only a lake but also a mountain thanks to the fact that the Brescia side of the Lake is surmounted by the mountains that overlook the lake and which offer a breathtaking view.
- Belvedere Hotel & Villa ** – The hotel is located on the road leading to Monte Maderno, in a great position for visiting the small town of Toscolano Maderno. Peace and relaxation are real, the structure is positioned, in fact, in a closed-end street. The highlight? Definitely the panoramic view which can be enjoyed both from the restaurant and from the rooms, precisely, with a view.
